We are delighted to be joined by George Wills on his return to Australia from Berlin in ‘Baroque Spirit’.

He will be performing Theorbo and Baroque Guitar in a selection of beautiful music including Spanish guitar repertoire by Santiago de Murcia.

George Wills is a lutenist and guitarist from New Zealand. Who has been based in Berlin, Germany, now returning to Australia, George is an active basso continuo player specialising in theorbo and baroque guitar. He regularly performs with ensembles and orchestras in Europe and Australasia. Recent highlights include performances with Lautten Compagney Berlin, Komische Oper Berlin, Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin, The Late Train, Ensemble I Sogni, Crossroads Baroque, StudioChor Berlin, and Salut!
